Deccan XI has been hailed as the topmost team with the most impressive performance in the last 3 years. Behind this stupendous success are a group of able youngsters, who apart from playing in the team themselves take on the critical responsibility of ‘Coach’. They volunteer their time, energies and strive to churn out players who have a unique combination of stamina, agility and sheer talent.

Deccan XI Football Club comprises three teams, A, which play in the 1st division and B & C, in 2nd division respectively. Deccan is the only club to have there B & C team playing in 2nd division. Apart from these is the Youth System that aims to nurture young talent.

The ‘A’ Team is coached by Sunil Deshpande, who ably guides his team to face the toughest opponents and accomplish the most keenly fought victories. They have the distinction of winning 42 trophies in the past 3 years, something that has never been achieved before.

The ‘B’ Team is coached by Anil Deshpande, under him B team have won 7 tournaments in last 5 years, Sunil takes over the mantle of coach. His wards are the support system for the A team, who are thoroughly groomed to represent the A team and take it to greater heights in the future.
